It has been months since my last blog. Last year I suffered the residual effects of back-to-back strokes and a near collapse of kidney function. There were no warning signs. By the time the danger was identified, I was one point away from life-long dependence on dialysis. Like most people around the world 2020 was a year I would like to forget. I concentrated on recovery and development of a new website dedicated to promoting a new novel, Treasure of the Essenes: Into Egypt, which will be available on Amazon soon. As 2020 spiraled out of control, I began watching situations happening in Nevada. The purpose of this blog is to bring awareness about what is happening because most of these situations are not covered by local or national news.
#1 – COVID-19
Former MGM CEO Jim Murren left MGM with a 36-million-dollar golden parachute to assume responsibility for the Covid-19 efforts in Nevada. The following is a link from Networkinvegas.com which outlines why Nevada ranks 47 out of 50 states in rolling out vaccination plans. Based on the gut job he was responsible for with MGM, Mr. Murren is the last person I would nominate to lead the planning and execution for how all Nevadans would get vaccinated. #2 – Nevada is offering high tech companies the ability to create autonomous cities if they move to Nevada. I am attaching links to various sites reporting on this incredible situation.

“A leaked draft of the legislation, obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, states that a traditional local government is “inadequate alone to provide the flexibility and resources conducive to making the State a leader in attracting and retaining new forms and types of businesses and fostering economic development in emerging technologies and innovative industries.” It thus proposes an “alternative form of local government”—to allow companies, in the words of the Review-Journal, to “effectively form separate local governments in Nevada, governments that would carry the same authority as a county, including the ability to impose taxes, form school districts and justice courts and provide government services, to name a few duties.”

“A futuristic tech metropolis in the desert, companies that operate their own governments – and Blockchains Inc, owns the complicated technology that lies behind Bitcoin. It sounds like science fiction, but a proposal to let Blockchains LLC start its own city in Nevada made national headlines, even though it has not officially been introduced in the Legislature yet. If lawmakers approve the plan, it will allow developers to create so-called “innovation zones” if they own at least 50,000 acres of land. In Nevada, the limiting factor for new development isn’t land – it’s water.”
Daniel Rothberg is an environment reporter with the Nevada Independent. He just published an article looking at water rights purchased by Blockchains LLC, the tech company pushing for the new law. The water rights it purchased are from the northern part of Washoe County near Gerlach, best known for hosting the Burning Man Festival in the nearby Black Rock playa. “What struck me was how far away it was from the land that they owned,” Rothberg said. The land where Blockchains plans on building its own city is about 100 miles south . . . near the Tahoe Reno Industrial Complex. The company bought 7,000 acre-feet of water from two different groundwater basins.”
Water rights in the West are complicated, Rothberg said. “Basically, what’s important here is the industrial center is on the Truckee River and in the Truckee River Watershed, which is where Reno and Sparks and Washoe County get its water,” he said. This means Blockchains can not access the water it needs for its city because it has already been allotted. It’s a classic case in the West where water is scarce in this area,” he said.
“The Truckee River flows into Pyramid Lake, which is within the boundaries of the Pyramid Lake Paiutes land. The lake saw significant water loss when water was diverted to Fallon for agriculture. That water loss threatened fish species in the lake. Rothberg said decades of work on every level of government, including from former Senator Harry Reid, led to the lake’s recovery. “As a result, there are a lot of rules, operating agreements, and regulations which govern the Truckee River and its watershed. Any new development on this scale and those regulation come into play,” Rothberg said.
There is another layer to Blockchains plans. Pumping water from rural areas to feed urban development often comes with pushback from the rural area, Rothberg said. “Oftentimes when water is taken out of a rural area and transferred to a city, it impacts the economy of that rural area. It also impacts, potentially, the future growth and the future uses of that water and that’s a basis for why some of these rural areas often protest,” Rothberg added. Environmentalists point out there is damage which comes with pumping water out of the ground for consumptive use in a city.
#3 – Blockchain LLC
Below are links to two articles which outline the Blockchain agenda to create a New Republic in Nevada which will be carved out of First Peoples reservations on the western edge of the Great Basin. A brief overview of these articles is outlined below but if you really want the hair to stand up on the back of your neck, follow both these links to get the entire story.
How can an independent city be carved out of the Western Great Basin plateau? Simple, there are vast tracts of land which belong to a handful of First People’s reservations. The 56 million acres of reservation land currently under Indian ownership are held in trust for the Indian people by the United States Federal Government. Approval by the Secretary of the Interior, Deb Haaland a Laguna Pueblo native, is required for nearly all land-use decisions such as selling, leasing or business development. Reservations are independent countries, like Puerto Rico, within the boundaries of the US and as such they establish their own governing and infrastructure systems. With Federal approval they are free to sell or lease land to any corporation, or casino, and it is legal for them to do so. And what is QFS? It is commonly known as a Quantum Financial System. It will be the new banking system called Treasury For The New Republic. Where is it going to be? Perhaps on reservation land purchased by a company called Blockchains.
#4 – Financial Reset
The Quantum field is a difficult concept to grasp unless you happen to be a Quantum engineer with a PhD in math, which I am obviously not. I thought it was important to take the heart of this article from Inbute.com to try to explain the importance of what this will mean to Nevada, if Sisolak and his band of merry raiders are successful in this endeavor. So, if you wanted to piece together a conspiracy theory . . . . my story line would be this: If your goal is to establish a New World Order and record every financial transaction in any currency around the world, an out of the way place like the State of Nevada, with impoverished reservations taking up vast tracks of land, might be the place to establish an empire. Blockchain has already purchased water rights to this arid section of the Great Basin. Reservations are autonomous nations, which means they must have the approval of the Secretary of the Interior to sell, lease or develop land. But corporations will be impowered to create their own city, with its own laws, company stores and housing. Little things–like unions, wages, health care–would all be at the corporation’s choosing and there is nothing to be done about it because Blockchain City can make the rules as they go along. Employees, like the coal miners of the past, would be “chained” to the company store. Yet here it is, already a work in progress in Nevada. The resort, restaurant, and entertainment industries have been forced into near extinction so out of work Nevadans might see this as heaven sent. And guess what? A senator from Nevada has been appointed chair of the National Tourism commission, and surprise, surprise, surprise, the vice-chair is one of the representatives from Nevada. Two women with the power to persuade people to move to Nevada where the living is easy, entertainment is non-stop, and jobs are plentiful.
I feel like the characters in Glitter may be involved in a new political intrigue as soon as Into Egypt is launched.
