Every once in awhile a surprise comes your way which is so delightful you have to share with friends and family. I sent my sister’s grandchildren a box of craft supplies so they could create their own Christmas ornaments. The below video was written, produced and starred in by the youngest granddaughter, Addie. She wrote her own thank you message and read it to the camera. To provide a little context to this charming thank you, when she refers (and oh the dramatic gestures) to my winter wonderland holiday décor, my sister had shown her videos my brother sent of my holiday decorations as shared in my previous post – Finding Joy. So you understand her comment about the “naughty puppy”, I sent a photo of my eight month old Rottweiler who jumped from the overstuffed chair in the family room three feet to the bar top to reach the breakfast of one of the other dogs.

Addie’s video reminded me of the wonderful things in my life I often take for granted. This little video made me stop and appreciate all the people who mean so much to me. I wanted to share it with you in the hopes of sparking some joy in your holiday too.
